The pro football season gets a short extension in southwest Ohio. Former NFL safety Bo Eason comes to Miami University with his one-man show ”Runt of the Litter” at 7:30 p.m. Feb. 9 in  Hall Auditorium.

“Runt” is based loosely on Eason’s life, family, and career. When a knee injury ended his career with the Houston Oilers, Eason developed an interest in acting and decided that he had a story to tell.  According to USA Today, “Runt” is about an undersized player obsessed with making the pros, pushed on by equally obsessed parents. (Yes, his older brother is Tony Eason, who led the New England Patriots to the 1985 Super Bowl.)
